Since I knew I’d be traveling this summer, I snagged two 1.7oz samples of C.O. Bigelow’s No. 005 Lemon Body Cream from Bath and Body Works (they were on sale). It smells just like lemon marang pie and is supposed to give intensive moisture care for very dry skin. At first I thought this would be great since my skin gets dry from swimming and sunning. However, because of it’s ultra moisturizing shea butter and replenishing kukui nut oil (rich in essential fatty acids) it might be too rich for the summer but just perfect for the winter.

I’ve tried it out for a week and I like it a lot. I just need a little of the rich, non-greasy cream and I’m good to go. I’m in Hong Kong right now, and because of the humidity my skin is rarely dry, so whether it dramatically renews and moisturizes is still unknown. But, I’ve got to say, my skin is very soft right now.

The label also mentions that the cream has a Skin-Brightening Formula. This I have yet to see.

I think the big test for the No.005 Lemon Body Cream will happen this winter. I’ll grab another few sample jars and see how things go from there.
